A life of roles; Who Are you?

The roles you play in life do not effectively define you. Your divine-self is much greater than the collection of your roles.

My spiritual journey has been a life of roles including husband, father, brother, uncle, scout leader, consultant, director, manager, team leader, and worker. I’ve been a college student, an adjunct professor, corporate photographer and an elected chapter board member for a professional organization. In my younger years I was as an injection mold machine operator and then a nursing home orderly while living in Idaho.

For each of these roles I bring various characteristics and traits of my personality. I participate in each of these roles based on my perception of what the role should be in accordance with my beliefs. Some people may know me through an interaction of only one role or another, while others may have interactions with me as I engage in various roles. Regardless, when I interactive with others they may judge me in that role based on their experiences and beliefs.

You too have multiple roles. And while all of these roles are important, it’s equally important to understand they are just roles played during life’s journey. Meaning, the roles you play do not effectively define you. Your divine-self is much greater than the collection of your roles as a mortal being. You are a unique spiritual entity with a divine purpose and you are equal to all others.

To achieve self-sovereignty, you must continue to explore your inner self. You must find the strength to explore your beliefs and move beyond and your fears. More often than not this means letting go of old familiar roles, modifying existing roles and establishing new ones. Along the way you must have unconditional love for who you are in order to foster the strength to Build A Better You.

And so I ask again, in your life of roles; who are you?

The Answer is Within You.

  2. Thanks for the suggestions you have shared here. Something else I would like to express is that laptop or computer memory specifications generally increase along with other advances in the engineering. For instance, if new generations of processor chips are brought to the market, there is certainly usually a similar increase in the size preferences of all computer system memory and hard drive space. This is because software program operated simply by these processor chips will inevitably increase in power to take advantage of the new technology.
